1. b current’s afteRock Plays: This theatre series features two shows. One about masculinity, cash money and hip hop (Brotherhood: The Hip Hopera, Sebastien Heins) and one about sexuality, motherhood and what it is to be femme (The Femme Playlist, Catherine Hernandez). 2. We fell in love with The Wooden Sky when they did their Travelling Adventure Show inSummerWorks 2013. To celebrate the release of Let’s Be Ready (Chelsea) they’re throwing a two night/day adventure and we can’t wait. Catch them Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 at Lee’s Palace. As if that isn’t fun enough, they’re bringing back travelling shows with the Vinyl Bike Tour, taking place Saturday, October 18. This tour celebrating the vinyl release of the record starts is hitting up the following: 2:00 pm at Cabin Fever (1669 Bloor St W), 3:00 pm at Soundscapes (572 College St) and 4:00 pmat Kops on Bloor (592 Bloor St W).

3. Scary things go bump in the night and if you like that, get your Halloween engine revving with the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
