We found hope and light at the opening of Toronto Light Festival
When the world faces change, the global community often looks to art for inspiration; From the Reagan-inspired era of 80’s punk-rock to recent outpourings of vows to join the Star Wars Rebel Alliance, finding the spark for creative inspiration in times of may lie at the very core of our most creative selves – wherein the wild imagination can roam free. In early 2000’s, the artistic world of fashion saw a revival of 60’s fashion with homages to bellbottoms, low-rise jeans, flare-sleeves and an overall desire for peace and love.
Today marks the opening of the Toronto Light Festival in the Distillery District, a moment in which we perhaps all need a little more light in our lives. We scoured the best of #TOLightFest on Instagram to bring you the best and the brightest to offer you a little light and hope in these uncertain times.

We will be soaking up the light and hope this weekend at Toronto Light Fest in the Distillery District – but don’t worry, Toronto wont be dim any time soon. The festival runs this weekend through ‘til March 12th and is completely free.
