“I want something wedding inspired, maybe lace, but not wedding-y or prissy at all.”
Try giving that request to a manicurist at your run of the mill nail shop. Guaranteed, it’s not going to go well. Give it at Tips Nail Bar, like our Danielle Morgan did when she went in to see Nargis Khan, one of their nail artists and apparently you’re golden. This Mani Monday, we’re loving Toronto’s best nail bar, Tips.

If you’ve ever been to Tips you know why we’re all about them. Drawing their inspiration from your outfit, the latest fashions, nail art trends, famous fabric designs, celebs, art, world events and essentially anything else, the nail artists at Tips are simply the best.
The freehand artwork on your mini canvas is excellent, the atmosphere is awesome, the vibe is laid back and friendly and the nail artists are a hoot. Actually, an hour or two spent at Tips feels like time spent in your hippest friend’s living room as she does your nails – only your friend is a trendsetting nail artist who’s probably got the latest nail art spread in Flare, The Kit or Fashion magazine.
No matter what your mood or what you’re looking for, you’re going to come out happy. They’ll make sure of it. Added bonus? Aside from the kick ass nail art, the manicures and pedicures themselves are pretty damn awesome. We haven’t had the privilege of trying every nail artist yet but it’s safe to say they can hook up our mani mondays anytime.
Our parting gift is this recommendation: find @tipsnailbar on Instagram, follow them and all their nail artists. Happy mani monday and you’re welcome.
