This week we’ve mashed two things we love: half moons and negative spaces.
Half moon manicures are simple enough, they’ve been on trend for a while now. Tip: to make the perfect half moon manicure stick a reinforcement on your nails as a guide.
Negative space and lines are a new nail trend you’re going to see us play with a lot this summer. The theory is pretty simple, take a design you’d have painted on with a different colour and let it be nail polish free instead. Instead of a red stripe, make it a stripe of naked nail. Instead of a coloured half moon, make it a bare one. Get what we mean? Tip: paint your nails and use a fine brush dipped in acetone to remove polish and create your designs. And be patient, negative space manicures require a bit of planning and precision.
