TORONTO, ON — Black and white, colour, online binge watching and now interactive experiences. Television is changing fast and the newest member of this evolution is back for its second season. The Emmy Award®-winning series Guidestones returns on July 15, and is available on CTV EXTEND, CTV’s exclusive free-to-consumer digital hub at CTV.ca, as well as on the CTV GO app. To celebrate the launch of the new season, Guidestones invite the press to a media preview July 10 at The Royal Cinema at 7:00 p.m. EST (608 College St).

This season, famed French actor Arnaud Binard (ID:A) joins the cast as the rogue art authenticator and action hero Brooklyn Cott. Filmed in several locations, viewers will watch and participate as Sandy and Trevor embark on an international adventure that jumps from London, Greece, France, New York and Toronto, to Kiev and Chernobyl.

Inspired by true events, the first season of Guidestones garnered a total of 25 awards and nominations including winning the 2013 International Digital Emmy Award® for Best Digital Program – Fiction and the 2013 Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Program and Series Produced for Digital Media. The series has also received a “Rockie” Award at the Banff World Media Festival as well as earning five nominations at the International Academy of Web Television Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show.
