“The SheDot Festival recognizes what has always been true: that women are funny. I am excited to celebrate with the hilarious ladies in Toronto,” explains Cho.
In addition to her brazen brand of comedy, Cho is an outspoken advocate in the non-profit sector, especially for gay rights and anti-bully campaigns. She is an accomplished film and Emmy nominated television actress who has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album.
Tickets for the gala go on sale at 10:00 am, January 23, 2015.
The four day festival is accepting submissions for workshops up until January 23, 2015. Questions and submissions can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
