Who’s on your team? (crew, bandmates, family, etc)
Solo in terms of painting but Bill Spratt is my very supportive husband. He helps with photographing my paintings, hanging/displaying work and setting up exhibits, and provides emotional support. Also my mom who has been the most encouraging and inspiring, as well as family and friends. Plus my website guy Kevin Rosenthall.
5 things you can’t live without?
Wine, coffee, chocolate, husband/family/friends, art/music.
What’s the best show you’ve seen recently? (music, stage or otherwise)
The movies Big Eyes and Imitation Game, my husband’s blues band Automatic Slim, fusion/jazz pianist Keith Jarrett and Beck.
What are your plans for 2015?
Showcasing my art at The Artist Project (Feb 19-22). Create more art, share my art work more broadly – galleries, shows, yoga, travel.
Most memorable moment of your career thus far?
My first art sale, first time seeing my art displayed in a gallery and being in TAP.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?
I can’t imagine not painting or creating.
What advice do you have for people who want to get to where you are?
Perseverance, believe in yourself and dreams, continue to work hard at it and get yourself out there.
Industry shout out – who does it go to?
