The fluffy stuff is starting to trickle from the sky and though you may want to stay in and read a book by the fire, we suggest you get out and see what beautiful Toronto city has to offer.
A Captain of Happiness favourite, the Toronto Christmas Market (November 28 – December 21) is the perfect place to hang out with the family or take your love on a romantic stroll. Be sure to warm up with a cup of melted chocolate via our friends over at SOMA.
2. One of a Kind Christmas Show
Crafts are the best and the One of a Kind show (November 27 – December 7) hosts the cream of the crop. Do your holiday shopping right and pick up a sweet little something for that special someone.
What’s better than bright lights (see fireworks) and food trucks? Not much if you ask us. Head down to Nathan Phillips Square at 7PM for some bright lights, big eats and cozy times.
4. Chris Thomas – Hood Times (November 28-30, Goodfellas Gallery)

Miniatures and cityscapes abound at this exhibit over the weekend. Make the trip to check out Chris Thomas’ work, inspired by Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood. The artist himself will be there for you to meet at the opening.

If you’re looking for family friendly fun, check out this show. In this Ross Petty Production the classic story is told in a wacky holiday musical. Tickets range from $27-$85.
