Each month, we feature an artist who caught our attention. They could be in theatre, film, music or visual art. The point is we think they’re kick ass and you should know who they are. This month’s artist is Ksenya von Shlezinger.
Ksenya von Shlezinger is a professional art photographer. Originally from Russia, she recently immigrated to Canada, and says she continues to thrive in her art through the natural beauty so readily available in new home country. Ksenya draws her artistic inspiration from capturing the “haunting beauty” of nature, and the vulnerability of the human soul. Her main theme of expression in art is to uncover how these two elements of the universe are always connected.
